Valley Ambulance Authority — Trusted Emergency Medical Services Since 1972
Valley Ambulance Authority (VAA) provides professional emergency medical care and medical transportation services to residents, businesses, and visitors across our region. Our crews are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond when emergencies occur and to ensure patients receive safe, reliable medical transportation.
VAA proudly serves Moon Township, Coraopolis Borough, Crescent Township, Neville Island, and designated areas of Pittsburgh International Airport. Through our partnership with Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority, our coordinated EMS system also supports Sewickley, Sewickley Heights, Aleppo Township, and surrounding communities.
For more than fifty years, our organization has remained committed to one mission: providing dependable, high-quality emergency medical services to the communities we serve.
Community-Focused. Professionally Staffed.
Valley Ambulance Authority and Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority operate a regional EMS system staffed by more than 60 certified professionals, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and support personnel, dedicated to delivering compassionate, skilled patient care.
Our fleet includes seven advanced life support ambulances, three response vehicles, and two wheelchair-accessible medical transportation units, enabling us to handle both emergency and non-emergency patient needs. Every day, our crews are ready with advanced medical equipment and the training needed to deliver quick, professional care.
Community-Supported EMS System
The EMS Authority operates as a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) and municipal authority dedicated to serving our communities with dependable emergency medical care.
Our ability to respond quickly and provide high-quality services is made possible through the continued support of the communities we serve. Operations are sustained through a combination of community subscription programs, insurance reimbursements, municipal partnerships, and community donations.
This collaborative support allows us to maintain trained EMS professionals, modern equipment, and the resources necessary to deliver reliable emergency medical services every day.
We invite residents, businesses, and community partners to support local EMS and help ensure these services remain strong for years to come. Whether by subscribing to our program, requesting transportation services, or simply learning more about our mission, your support makes a difference.
Professional care, Reliable response, Community commitment.
